CELEBRATE SOUND® and the SUNY Center for Speech, Language, Hearing Disorders at SUNY Cortland
CELEBRATE SOUND Don’t Walk in Silence® is a national fund- and awareness-raising event created to help promote hearing health in our communities. Hearing health needs allies and advocates, educators and healers. Hearing Charities of America’s partners and communities share the common belief that attention paid to hearing health adds quality to lives and communities.
Half of the net proceeds from this event will be used to support the Center for Speech, Language, Hearing Disorders at SUNY Cortland through the purchase of communication technologies such as tablets, laptops, or other assistive communication technologies, along with apps and/or software. These technologies would be for used by graduate students as part of their clinical practicum. The other half will help to support the National Hearing Aid Project and other related programs, as well as help individuals and organizations promote hearing health in our communities.
